We employ two fully trained butchers so that we can provide you with various joints of meat. As our butchery is on site, the butchers can accomodate any cutting or trimming as necessary, in order that you can have your joint just as you like.
We manufacture our own produce too, with several varieties of sausages, smoked and unsmoked bacon, faggots, and lamb meatballs, to name a few. In the summer we produce a wide range of burgers to include, lamb, beef, pork and venison.
We also grow turkeys for Christmas. We choose the bronze type of turkey as we believe that they have the best flavour and retain moisture upon cooking. The chicks arrive at a day old in July and are barn reared on the farm until early December. At this time they are killed, hand plucked and hung. Our butchers then prepare the birds ready for the busy collection just days before Christmas.
If you wish to order a Christmas turkey we open the order book in October, place your order early to avoid disappointment as we only produce 200 each year!
